A brothers keeper is someone who looks over and protects one and other, in other words a guardian angel. The main character in The Five People you Meet in Heaven Eddie s life is turned around on his birthday when he is killed and put into heaven where he meets five people who dramatically impact his life. The Blue Man made this sacrifice for a reason; to keep Eddie alive because his life would affect people in a positive and negative way.
